Frequently asked questions
Practical answers about Korefield’s entity (KETL), delivery posture, services catalogue, sovereign AI, engagements and commercials, audits and timelines - and where deeper diligence sits behind NDAs.
What is Korefield Energy & Technology Ltd (KETL)?
Korefield Energy & Technology Ltd (trading as KETL) is an enterprise technology company headquartered in Lagos. Korefield combines strategy-ready advisory conversation with engineered outcomes across sovereign AI, industrial software, workflow automation, data strategy, and SCADA/IoT systems integration. Structured workforce programmes flow through Korefield Academy, complementing—not replacing—enterprise Statements of Work.
Company mission and how delivery is organised are on About. Formal proposals, capability statements, and contract artefacts are exchanged through your enquiry thread—not inferred from this page alone.
Do you work with organisations outside Nigeria?
Korefield is global-facing and locally grounded: delivery is coordinated from Lagos, and each programme is scoped around the operating context, regulatory obligations, data sensitivity, and delivery model of the client.
Nigerian and African business context remains a strength where relevant, including vendor ecosystems, connectivity, NDPA-aware handling, and local adoption realities. Geography, SLAs, and on-site presence are confirmed during commercial scoping - not inherited from marketing copy alone.
What enterprise services does Korefield offer?
Korefield’s Enterprise Solutions catalogue is organised around five pillars. Each engagement is tailored to your stack, safety and change-control rules, and procurement guardrails—not a static product SKU.
- Enterprise AI — private LLM fine-tuning, anomaly detection, and deployment patterns that keep sensitive inference inside agreed perimeters.
- Sovereign Software — industrial software engineering, including Rust or Go services and control surfaces where determinism and operational safety matter.
- Workflow Automation — agent-assisted flows, legacy RPA layering, and ops automation with human-in-the-loop governance.
- Data Strategy — pipelines, telemetry quality, and executive visibility without bypassing your approved stores and access policies.
- Systems Integration — SCADA/IoT bridging, API middleware, security-aware integration, and controlled legacy migration.
Illustrative solution narratives are on Use Cases; concrete deliverables are named in discovery and Statements of Work.
What does “sovereign AI” mean when Korefield uses it?
Korefield uses the term for localized models and decision systems designed so sensitive data, inference, and change control stay within your agreed boundary—on-prem, private cloud, or regulated hybrid patterns—with reduced reliance on public APIs where policy requires it.
This is an architectural and operating posture, not a guarantee of total independence from every third party or a blanket security claim. Air-gapped or high-assurance energy and industrial scenarios are supported when jointly scoped; threat models, data flows, and human oversight are defined per engagement.
Which industries or problem domains do you typically support?
Korefield emphasises energy, finance, and broader enterprise and industrial operations where uptime, auditability, and integration with legacy or OT systems matter. Common entry problems include fragmented telemetry, brittle manual runbooks, ERP or plant systems that need event-driven glue, and AI pilots that must pass security and operations review.
Named enterprise customers are not listed here unless contractually agreed for publication. Sector fit and risk appetite are confirmed in discovery.
What is your typical engagement model?
Most programmes move from discovery (constraints, stakeholders, metrics, procurement path) through a technical assessment or bounded pilot, then into delivery with written acceptance criteria. Larger transformations are often phased: observability and integration foundations first, then automation and AI where data quality and safety gates allow.
Statements of work, milestones, and change control align with your internal IT/OT processes—especially where plant safety or regulated financial flows are in scope.
How does a technical or infrastructure audit work?
Request a technical infrastructure audit via this page or enquiry@korefield.com. Korefield offers an initial infrastructure assessment at no obligation as a structured entry: relevant architecture and integration surfaces, data sensitivity classes, operational risks, and a concise read-out of realistic options before heavy solution design.
Depth increases under mutual NDA and with the right technical owners on your side; Korefield does not “audit” production OT from a generic form submission alone without agreed access and safety rules.
How quickly will we hear back?
Korefield targets acknowledgement from the engineering-led path within one business day of a website inquiry, subject to workload and public holidays.
For procurement deadlines, include your company name, desired decision window, whether an NDA is executed, and the sensitivity class of data involved. For time-sensitive threads use enquiry@korefield.com or WhatsApp +234 703 307 5594.
How do you handle confidentiality, NDAs, and vendor due diligence?
Website and pre-contract discussions are treated as confidential by default. Korefield supports mutual NDAs, security questionnaires, and vendor onboarding artefacts as part of enterprise procurement.
High-level security practices are summarised under Legal → Security; detailed controls, subprocessors, and evidence attach to the engagement under NDA when you are evaluating a specific programme.
Who owns intellectual property and deliverables?
Ownership of bespoke software, integrations, models, and documentation is governed by your master services agreement or statement of work. Typically, customers receive ownership or a perpetual license to custom work product paid for under the contract, while Korefield may retain rights to pre-existing libraries, templates, and general methodologies.
Exact clauses are negotiated to satisfy your legal, security, and open-source policy requirements.
How do you approach pricing and commercial terms?
Structure follows risk and clarity of scope: fixed-fee phases for well-bounded pilots, time-and-materials with caps for discovery-heavy work, or milestone-based delivery for larger integration programmes.
SLAs and uptime are quoted where they can be measured against agreed infrastructure, responsibilities, and monitoring—not as blanket marketing guarantees disconnected from your operational reality.
What is Korefield Academy, and is it separate from consulting?
Korefield Academy is Korefield’s public learning and bootcamp channel. Fees, cohort schedules, and audience are published on the Academy site—not routed through this corporate contact form as if it were enterprise procurement.
Executed consulting, integration, and delivery are contracted separately under commercial Statements of Work. Academy programmes complement long-term skills development; they do not substitute a governed enterprise engagement.
Are the scenarios on the Use Cases page real client case studies?
The Use Cases section presents composite, illustrative patterns and representative metrics to explain how Korefield approaches classes of problems. They are not presented as a single named client file unless explicitly stated otherwise on that page.
Customer-specific references, quantified outcomes, and methodology packs are available under NDA when appropriate for your evaluation process.
How do you treat personal data and local compliance requirements?
Personal data submitted through this site and during sales conversations is handled in line with Korefield’s Privacy Policy. For enterprise engagements, controller versus processor roles, cross-border transfers, retention, and subprocessors are defined in the contract and data protection schedule.
Korefield does not provide legal advice; your counsel should map terms to sector-specific obligations.

How does Korefield approach systems integration and OT/IT boundaries?
Korefield treats systems integration as the disciplined layer that connects legacy stacks, plant and IoT telemetry, and modern cloud or application layers into a coherent, security-aware picture—SCADA/IoT bridging, API middleware, zero-trust-aligned design, and controlled legacy migration where change windows and rollback exist.
OT/IT boundaries, safety interlocks, maintenance windows, and operational sign-off are first-class inputs. Detailed blueprints are produced jointly with your operations and IT teams after audit paths and NDAs—not from anonymous website forms alone.
